Spotify has tested the devices based on their music streaming service, but none of them have been widely released yet.
Currently, Spotify is launching their ‘Car Thing’ device in the US as a limited product launch targeting Spotify Premium Subscribers.
It is 4.6 inches wide and 2.5 inches high and includes a 4 inch touchscreen. Also, there are four preset buttons at the top that allow you to easily access your favorite music, playlists or podcasts.
In addition to the touchscreen, you can control many functions through the side dial and use the “Hey Spotify” command to play the content you want. In addition, the Car Thing device can be connected to your car via Bluetooth or a 3.5mm jack.
Spotify says that the device will only be released to a limited number of users in the United States and will be available for free to Spotify Premium users.
The Car Thing device is priced at US $ 79.99, but Spotify has not yet announced a release date for the device.
